Winter Break Transportation Options

In case you are looking for ways to help your student get home, we wanted to share the following options:

  • Bradley Airport (Hartford): Reservation deadline: Wednesday, December 15
    • Departing Wesleyan:
      • Fri. Dec 17: 5:45am, 11:30am, 4:30pm
      • Sat. Dec 18: 5:45am, 12:00pm, 4:30pm
      • Sun. Dec 19: 5:45am, 12:00pm
    • Departing Bradley:
      • Mon. Jan 17: 11:30am, 6:00pm, 10:00pm
      • Tues. Jan 18: 11:30am, 6:00pm, 10:00pm
    • Cost is $20.00 one way, $40.00 round trip. Trip takes approximately 1 hour.
    • Return pick up location: OUTSIDE the Baggage Claim area at the lower/ground level, DOOR 6 on the center island.
  • JFK/LGA/Newark/Bradley Airports: Connecticut Limousine
    • Connecticut Limousine offers a shuttle service departing from the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Meriden, CT. Students can take an Uber to Four Points which is about 20 minutes away.
    • To make a reservation for the shuttle service, please visit the Connecticut Limousine website.
  • Logan Airport (Boston)
    • Students can take the Wesleyan shuttle to the New Haven train station and take the Acela to South Station (Boston).
    • From Boston’s South Station, request an Uber, Lyft, or taxi, or transfer to SL1 silver line bus. The bus travels to Logan Airport in about 15 minutes. You can purchase a fare ticket in a vending machine inside South Station and add cash value. Adult fare is around $3, and around $1 for youths and seniors.
  • New Haven Train Station (NYC & Boston)

    • Deadline to purchase tickets: Wednesday, December 15
    • Departing Wesleyan
      • Thur. Dec 16: 5:45pm
      • Fri.    Dec 17: 2pm, 5:45pm
      • Sat.   Dec 18: 10am, 2pm
      • Sun.  Dec 19: 10am
    • Departing New Haven (from in front of the Train Station)
      • Mon.  Jan 17: 11am, 5pm
      • Tue. Jan 18: 11am, 5pm
    • Cost is $15.00 one way, $30.00 round trip.
    • From the New Haven Station, your student can take either MetroNorth or the Amtrak Acela to NYC and Amtrak to Boston.
